What is the profession of a jeweler?
Jade: I have been practicing this profession for 3 years after completing an art jewelry CAP in Paris. The profession of a jeweler involves transforming various stone materials into costume jewelry or fine jewelry. Therefore, it is necessary to master all the techniques taught in schools, including welding, model design, sculpting…
Aurélie: As a jeweler, I present jewelry models to my clients. Once the model is approved, we search for materials and precious stones to create the jewelry and sell it.
Yves: I design and create rings, bracelets, necklaces, using various metals (gold, silver, diamond, platinum…) or precious stones. I also repair and restore jewelry and handle sales.
What do you like most about your job?
Jade: I love sharing my passion and letting my imagination run free.
Aurélie: I adore this artistic and manual aspect.
Yves: Creating an object from A to Z and seeing my creation appreciated and worn by someone.

Jade: It’s a job that can be dangerous because we work with fire and technical tools. So, you have to be very careful.
